  7. Happy onam to u too! The only difference in my plate would be 2 tablespoons of rice and a lot more of the veggies! isisn't it funny how sparingly the veggies are served at a sadya?

    I lived in tvm a few yrs and I still remember the hectic shopping I used to do there during Onam time...I loved those days :-)

  22. I have not been able to have a Ona sadya this time, infact for a long time now, but I am truly missing it sooo much.

Dear friends...thank you so much for sending us your wishes...really appreciate each and everyone of you for taking the time to drop a comment....As many of you know this picture of the Sadya was from our last Vishu celebration and this time we did not celebrate Onam due to the loss of a loved one in our family.

    i'm really impressed by d way u deliver recipies n share ur sweet memories about ur grandma. like u i'm really interested in cooking n have cherishing memories abut my grandma,she was my inspiration in cooking n 2 life as a whole.she z not alive 2day n d coming 21 of dis month it s going 2 be 1 year.i really miss her a loot n she always come into my dreams.so i thot of sending dis mesage 2 u,and with immense pleasure 2 write abut my grandma as i see we hav something in common;missing our grandmother's a loot,cooking her recipies,sharing experiences with her etc etc..
    thankyou so much 4 sharing ur memories and inspirational thoughts.truely i'm saying, u 2oo inspired me in d way u speaks abut cooking n abut ur loving granny...
